As a teenager I worked at a pet styling store and loved working with animals. I started my professional career styling hair and did this for 8 years before deciding I wanted to work with animals again. I came to the Dog House and apprenticed with the owners to learn Pet Styling. I have now been here for 19 years. I am compassionate and caring when handling your loved one. With my creativity and experience, your dog will feel and look its BEST! I am also certified in Reiki (spiritual energy) and would love to give your pet a healing spiritual energy treatment to help with concerns such as anxiety, fears, health problems, past abuse and neglect issues.

Being an animal lover is at the core of who I am. I believe that a pet's quality of life improves after a compassionate, quality, grooming experience. I love pet styling because I get to help a dog or cat feel and look its best. Education is important to me and I strive to keep up on the latest grooming trends and techniques. I attend the All American Grooming show and seminar in Illinois annually and read professional grooming publications. When I am not grooming, I like to read and spend time with my two cats, two dogs, husband, and step-grandson.

I have been grooming dogs for 11 years and it has been a privilege of mine working at The Dog House since 1996. When I first started here, I worked in the Kennel providing your pets with the care that I would give my own dogs. In 2000, the owner began training me in the grooming field and I learned what it meant to love your job. I get to work with dogs ever day and make them all look cute for their owners. I enjoy grooming all types and breeds of dogs but have a passion for the large breeds. I feel lucky to have the opportunity to work in this field and am honored to work with your beloved pet.
